What Recession?

Here at FAB we haved decided NOT to participate in this so - called recession! We are busier than ever - orders for Fraidy Cat Rabbits and Peanut Butter JAMMED effects coming in at a rapid pace. Our new improved Flying Carpet illusion is keeping the gang busy in the shop. We are trying to find a few more hours every day to get everything done. This plus our new Percy Abbott book, MagiCelebration in August and our latest offering we all are very excited about - All Ceramic Inexaustible Jug - due out this month. So . . . .if you don't want to be part of this so-called economic downturn join with us in making America great again.....BUY American - VISIT & Support your local magic shop. They ARE an American institution!

Yep, you just never know who will stop in at the shop! While the staff was busy assembling Fraidy Cat Rabbits this little guy came in the back door like he owned the place. It took me about fifteen minutes to track him down as he made his way throughout the showroom (perhaps looking for an audition in the 'duck pan') At first we thought he could be our honorary 'web' master (sorry for the puns - couldn't help myself)

We released him down by the Colon dam where he promptly took off down the stream looking for his family. It was fun while it lasted and maybe, just maybe, he will bring the rest of his family by for a visit in the near future.

We've had several visitors this week in the showroom including these two young men. Neither one would admit it but they are both 'legends'. Jerry Conklin on the left and Kid Show Pioneer Dick Oslund on the right. They are in the 'boss' relaxation area sharing stories about magicians of years gone by and dis(cuss)ing about some of the magic on the tube these days. Anyhow, it is great to have them hanging around. Nearly 100 years of magic between these two guys - what a life they have lived - a magical one indeed!

The Magic Of Life.......................

Meet Abigail Elise - our new granddaughter. We are so very proud of her ! Mom doing fine and (so is dad!) She is such a pretty girl and takes after mom and 'grandma'. You won't see her behind the sales counter anytime soon - her two year old sister Lilly has that privelege for now :)
