Passion Vs. Junk

Okay, you have heard me rant about the inferior products being offered to magicians. Almost daily I am inundated with "offers" to carry other manufacturer's products. Case In Point - look to the left and examine closely this supposed Vanishing Doves & Cage. Shall I say more - I think not. Is this what the quality of magic has come to? Not on our watch! Rest assured I won't keep harping on inferior props but I do think it is important to help educate the magic community about what they are buying so they can make an educated decision before purchasing any prop or effect.You will always find good, commercial, quality built magic at FAB Magic. I like to think of the movie 'Network' - where the announcer stands up and says " Stand up and say we are as mad as he_ _ and we aren't going to take it anymore!"

Today our youngest son, Cory, turns 20. Where does the time go? Cheryl & I are so proud of him. He is our 'Navy' guy - his brother Lee is our 'Army' man. You do the best to raise your kids the best way you know how and when they turn out terrific - well - you can't help but very, very proud - like we are of all our kids. Cory worked behind the counter here at the shop, helped pack orders and anything that was asked of him. We miss him for sure. He is in Groten, Connecticut and recently promoted to Apprentice Sailor. We love you son and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

"Magic That Is Simply FAB!" has caught on here at the studio. For the past week I have purged over 300 items on our site that I consider questionable quality. As we move forward with our manufacturing operations be assured that if there is something you want...we will build it! Look at our Fraidy Cat Rabbit pictured - we cannot make these fast enough. Why? Because the quality is superb - the gimmick is heavy duty and the paint job is a thing of beauty and it is reasonably priced. That is what will differentiate us from "other" dealers. You have my word that we will no longer list items on this site just because it is new and everyone else is selling it. I have been a practicing/professional magician for 35 years and I know what works. Place your trust in us knowing that you won't get a junkie item that isn't usable. I believe you will be quite pleased with our selections. Spring is around the corner and this is a great time to start "fresh".
