The Colon Community Park is taking shape and will be ready for visitors in August. It is a wonderful asset to our community and just goes to show you when folks put their mind to it anything can happen. This is the same site where the very first Abbott gettogethers were held when it was strictly a tent show. We have some very rare photographs that we will be adding to our book on Percy Abbott: Magical Years which is on scheduled to be published in August hopefully in time for magic week. Percy & Gladys' family will be making the trek to Colon along with Alan Abbott from Australia. It ought to be a blast.
