Long before there was television's "American Idol" a true idol to many magicians the world over was this man - the incomparable Neil Foster. "Flawless Foster" as he was known, performed his act with confidence, ease and commanded the stage whether it was in Colon or peforming before the crowned heads of Europe. I just recently found these photographs and it reminded me of the day when I first became interested in magic and THE day I saw my first real magician - Neil Foster. Neil is no longer with us but his legacy remains...Ah...I can close my eyes and still see that silver sphere come to life - the card, ball and cigarette manipulations. A magician's magician in every true sense of the word.
