Magic Shops vs. Internet

There has been plenty of discussion regarding the reported demise of the magic shop. For the past 10 years FAB Magic has operated a magic shop retail location AND internet site. We are here in our store to serve you 6 days a week. We aren't a part-time magic shop - this is our business 365 days a year - and yes we have a wonderful internet site and new manufacturing facility that will take us to that 'next level'. There is nothing more discouraging than finding a CLOSED sign on a shop door or perhaps no information all.  Rest assured we are here to stay and we hope that if you are in the area you will visit us. If you cannot come to Colon PLEASE visit your nearest magic store...support them. The magic is not so much in the shop - rather it is in  the people who run them. There are more lucrative jobs out there but these folks love what they do....they have a passion for magic -  please show them your appreciation - personal instruction and advise can't be found on an internet site or an email or on you tube. This brotherhood of magicians is a great one...one that I have been a part of for over 45 years. I have met and retained relationships with hundreds of magicians, amateur and professional. So, go check out your nearest magic shop and tell them you appreciate them being there!

It is with utmost pride that we introduce a dvd featuring the greatest magicians that ever lived. FAB Magic has painstakingly collected clips and performances of the likes of: Okito, Fu Manchu, Howard Thurston, Harry Blackstone Sr., T. Nelson Downs, Jack Gwynne, The Amazing Conklins, Karrell Fox, Duke Stern, McDonald Birch, Dell 'O' Dell, Cardini, Slydini, McDonald Birch, Mark Wilson, Neil Foster and dozens more. This footage will give you a glimpse of a bygone era. The film obtained is all silent and we have provided musical accompaniment by Wilma Rench, who played her marvelous organ music for many of these magic greats. It is indeed fitting we re-unite her music with them. Some of the film clips are over 80 years old and there are some flaws and a few distractions but they are few. Remarkable is the one word I would use to describe our findings. Many of these clips have never been seen and have been stored away in film cans for decades. You will find yourself watching this film over and over again. Place yourself in the audience and imagine what it would have been like to see all of these famous magicians perform live.
